Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of photography services do you offer?
We offer wedding photography, social events, engagement / couples sessions, maternity shoots, birthdays, family portraits, and outdoor sessions.

How do I book you and secure a date?
To reserve your date, we’ll sign a contract and require a deposit. After that, your date is entered on my calendar and is officially yours.

How far in advance should I book?
For weddings and major events, it’s best to book 6 months in advance (or more if your date is during a busy season). For smaller sessions (maternity, couples, etc.), booking 1–3 months ahead is ideal.

What is your photography style?
Our style is a blend of candid/documentary moments with posed portraits. I like to capture the natural emotions and atmosphere of each event, while making sure you also have those beautiful, posed photos you’ll cherish.

How many photos will I receive, and when will I get them?
This depends on the type and duration of the shoot. For example, for a wedding of ~8 hours you might receive several hundred edited photos; for shorter sessions, often 50–150 images. I typically deliver final edited galleries within 4–8 weeks, depending on season and workload.

Do you do any retouching or editing?
All final images are color corrected and edited for exposure, contrast, and style. Minor blemishes or distractions can be edited out on request. Heavy retouching (body reshaping, etc.) is not included unless specified at booking.

What happens if the weather is bad or something unforeseen occurs?
For outdoor sessions, if the weather is inclement, we can reschedule or move the session to a covered or indoor location, if possible. For events like weddings, we’ll adapt as best possible — lighting and timing changes sometimes are required, but I always aim to deliver excellent photos despite unexpected challenges.

Will there be a second shooter or assistant?
Yes, we can bring a second shooter or assistant if needed, for large weddings or multiple simultaneous locations. Additional fees may apply.

Do I own the rights to the photos?
You will receive personal use rights to share, print, and display your images. The copyright remains with me (the photographer). If you want full commercial rights, we can discuss additional licensing.

What forms of payment do you accept and what is your cancellation policy?
Payments are accepted via Zelle and direct transfer. A non‑refundable deposit secures your date. In case of cancellation, the deposit is retained. If you need to reschedule, I’ll do my best to accommodate based on availability.
